jayxcudi: Having a best friend of the opposite gender. Many people assume that if your best friend is the opposite gender of you, then that automatically makes it your boyfriend/girlfriend. I don’t see why people assume that and then spreads the word out to everyone. Many people can just be best friends, but act as if they’re together. You can have insiders, have jokes, have laughs here and there, and even have arguments here and there. You don’t always need to just have a best friend where there are no fights whatsoever. There are bound to be times where you’ll disagree with one another, or just have some pesky fights over something. Either way, you’ll have fights, make up, then be best friends again. Having a best friend of the opposite gender is a good way to just know what it is like to not always hang out with someone of the same gender, and not have to deal with drama, or even girl or boy fights.
